One of my goals in this class is to introduce you to web tools that you may not be aware of, and in most cases can take the place of more expensive software options.
For the Me Magazine project, for example, I gave you the option of three different software titles to work in and each one comes with its own hefty price tag.
There are many websites out on the Web that do a nice job of providing an alternative to expensive software. Below are a few web tools that I have found that are designed specifically for exactly what we’ve been doing the last two days.
The first is at bighugelabs.com and click on the Magazine Cover link. There are other tools that you can explore on this site as well.
Of course, you could always just Google what you are looking for.
Take some time exploring the tools and choose one that you would like to use to either recreate the cover you made the last two days or another original. The subject is up to you, within reason.
You’re final product (what you will be turning in) is the cover you made using one of the above web tools above.
